Obinze Autonomous Community is a historic and vibrant Igbo community located in Obinze town, Owerri West Local Government Area of Imo State, Nigeria. Rooted in traditional Igbo customs and institutions, Obinze Autonomous Community is governed through a structured system that includes the traditional ruler (Eze), Ndi Ichie, Nze na Ozo, age grades, women groups, youth associations, and the Obinze General Union. This inclusive governance structure promotes consultation, consensus, peace, and collective responsibility in community affairs.
